The business started over 20 years ago as a small retail store in Brisbane city, founded by husband and wife team Anoop and Fiona Anchal, and eventually opening further retail stores in other states and online. Anoop and Fiona opened Shirt Studio in Brisbane’s Tattersalls’ Arcade and they opened three more stores and an online store within four years.
Today, this business has evolved into one of Australia’s leading boutique uniform providers in Australia. From tailoring high-quality shirts in Brisbane 20 years to today delivering full-scope uniform solutions across industries all around Australia, the vision has always been planted in understanding people — their needs, their comfort, and their brand.
In 2019, the company rebranded from Shirt Studio Corporate to The Uniform Edit (TUE) to reflect the company’s broader offering. TUE now encompasses all uniform staples, custom-designed garments, and branded merchandise, all supported by in-house warehousing and a seamless supply chain, from local suppliers through to offshore manufacturing partners.
